Aldermont University was founded in 1847 by Eleanor Aldermont as a college open to every student with the will to learn. Nine schools, one campus, and a hundred and seventy-eight years of asking better questions.

Every undergraduate takes the same foundation sequence in their first two terms — one course in quantitative reasoning, one in written argument, and one seminar outside their own school. It is the only part of the degree nobody is allowed to skip, and graduates consistently name it as the part that changed how they work.
