This policy explains what Aldermont University collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It was last reviewed in February 2026.

1. What we collect

We collect only what a page needs in order to work:

• Enquiry and booking forms — your name, email address, optional phone number and the message you write.
• Applicant accounts — the details you enter when registering, plus a record of the applications you start.
• Newsletter — an email address and nothing else.
• Server logs — IP address, browser type and the pages requested, retained for 30 days for security purposes.

2. How we use it

To answer your enquiry, process your application, or send the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile for marketing.

3. Legal basis

1. Consent — for the newsletter, which you can withdraw in one click from any email.
2. Contract — for applications and enrolments, where processing is necessary to give you what you asked for.
3. Legitimate interests — for security logging and for replying to enquiries you send us.

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only storage used is a session cookie for the applicant portal, which is deleted when you close your browser.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to admissions@aldermont.edu and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Doing so does not affect any other route open to you.
